Hi, I'm looking for a low adjustment snare stand for this Ludwig field drum that I want to experiment on with my Downbeat kit. Any suggestions on a brand? I actually have one that came with my Werco kit but haven't a clue what brand that is or how to find another or is this whole idea just Lame ..I'm still gonna try it though...

If i was you i would just get a old M.I.J. snare stand a cut the bottom tube down...Mikey

Mikey is right-If you hold the drum in the position you want it and have someone measure the distance to the floor,you'll find it is pretty much impossible to make a non-flat base folding stand fold that small.Maybe a non drilling "resonant"style tom mount for a 14" tom with a Pearl mount on it and boom it in between the hi hat stand,like a hanging floor tom.

The web site edmwi dot com has a generic brand one for 22$....... It's a low/medium one. WIth a 5" snare, I couldn't get it high enough to play.

Well, I did it and it sounds awesome! I used the Groove Percussion snare stand adjusted all the way down and it's just right. Check it out:
