Lovely PEARL 60's Silver Sparkle 5x14 Snare

Loading...

Here's this aged babe waiting for her new owner. I got in on a trade and its collecting dust on my workshop. I got no use for this drum so its going for cheap. $40 bucks! plus shipping (around $20 on the states).

Its a 1964? Pearl 6 lug, 5x14 all original snare drum on "Gingered" Silver sparkle.

The snares and bottom head are original too. Even the original washers are present.

Meet the mother of the Eric Singer's model Pearl snare!!!

If interested please send me a PM and we can take it from there.

Rock on!

Vinny

Hey, sorry- was really busy yesterday. It is nice- no doubt. With a little deepening of the snare beds these are great. I have an almost identical model in WMP that I love. I am sure it will find a good home around here soon. These snares are very good when working a small room with a vocalist- they don`t overpower the sound bubble. The internal muffler (for me) is a big part of their sound picture- on these 60s Pearls I always use the muffler engaged. BOL

Thanks for your kind words Osaka. Now that you mentioned the muffler, It is pretty well designed and built. It has a certain "Old Slingerland" look

Vintage Drum Bug, looking closely it seems you have got a special bottom hoop on that snare- it`s got a snare guard which I haven`t seen coming as stock.
