Looks like an old cymbal mount.

Hi gang,

I found this in my box of drum bits and pieces. I don't see any markings to identify it brand-wise.

It looks to me like a bass drum cymbal mount. I originally thought it was a bass drum leg clamp, but still not sure.

Anyone recognize this?

I will probably end up selling this on eBay because I don't need it, but p.m. me if you need one of these.

I've seen these mounted on the old E. W. Kent bass drums as disappearing cymbal holder mounts. Also possible that it's a knock-off from Japan but my guess is KENT. Couldn't be more basic and simple but they work.

Very similar to the bass drum leg mounts for my D-20 bass... The only visible difference is the square head screw rather than a wing screw.

What is the ID, OD and length of this? It could be for anything!Hmmmm

That would be a 60's kent cymbal rod or bass drum lug mount..The cup washer abd drum key rod on that tells me this..Also is looks to be in nickle not chrome...Mikey

Kent you say... Thanks gang.

Yeah, it certainly is a simple design.

I'll measure it tonight, but it looks like the ID is about 3/8". I will make a more accurate measurement tonight.

My Yamaha one is a bit over 3/8 ID to accept the 3/8 bass leg...

Thanks eBay. I found some Kent tom pics on eBay.

The bass drum mounts looked a little larger and might have had a ball and socket mount.
