Hello fellow vintage drum lovers, I'm hoping that someone here could help me ID these drum shells that I've recently picked up. They are super thin (3/8") with no re-rings, no badges, and the lugs to me appear to be Slingerland, or maybe Pearl. Not sure if these are USA or foreign built. Nice looking interior wood, outside finish is checked like crazy, my wife says they have a lot of character. The set consists of a 20x16 bass, 14x14 floor, and a 12x8 tom. The only pics I have at this time are of the floor tom. Any thoughts of what they might be would very much appreciated. Keep on Rockin, Todd

The lugs are MIJ SLingerland knock offs. I can tell from the screw head. Shells wise could be early Keller thin ply shells. They have been making shells since the 1970's. So it's a possibility.

Thanks for the info guys, I have the floor tom put together with some odd parts I had, and with some time and head choice the floor tom really sounds great. Would love to figure out who these were made for. I plan to restore the whole set and play out. Wish there was a snare to match. Thanks again.
Could have been someone's personal project. Maybe they didn't like the sound of their MIJ kit, or maybe they had the parts but no shells? If only drums could talk.

I'll venture to guess the brackets say Made In Japan.

The floor tom brackets are some 60's Pearl extras I had, they fit perfect over the ghost print left on the shell. These shells just have me a bit puzzled. I guess I'll get back to restoring these and then take em for a ride. T
