Looking for Star Peacock Pearl wrap

Loading...

My first kit was a Star, wrapped in Peacock Pearl.

Of course that wrap is no longer available, but I am keen to reproduce it. If anyone has some of the wrap in good condition and can provide me with large, close-up pictures in natural light (no flash, no direct sunlight), I should be able to reassemble an image big enough and good enough to produce the wrap again.

So, please, if anyone has drums wrapped in Star Peacock Pearl, can you take some pictures of the bass drum and floor tom - we need a large section without hardware visible.

I'll be happy to share the design and a link to some ready-made wraps if I can get good enough samples.

Thanks again!

Looks like you need to provide a sample picture - as there is no 'Peacock Pearl' found in any Star catalogs.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Hi there!

Just received a PM from both you and Ralf about this color. I've attached some pictures of my Lido Supreme snare drum, wrapped in original Peacock Pearl. PM your email address to me and I'll send you the original shots of the drum. Should work out for your needs.

Thanks to iDrum4fun, I have recreated this wrap from a cloned image of his snare. I am getting some wrap made to up check it, but if it works out, this will be made available to anyone who needs it.

Wow, that's a fantastic-looking wrap you got there, one of the best I've seen. If it turns out OK, let us know. I've got a 14"x8" MIJ snare that methinks would look stunning in that :)
