Hello, I recently got a very nice 1920's Ludwig and Ludwig 4" by 15" COB snare drum and want to use it for jazz brushes. I replaced the original stick chopper single flanged batter hoop with a triple flange batter hoop and realized how hard it is to find a six hole hoop in this size. I can cut a small section from another batter hoop to make snare beds for a snare side hoop. I can always use a wooden snare side hoop but thought I would check and see if any metal six hole hoops are available. Thanks, Joe

Sorry to bother everybody. I found several sources for a Gibraltar 15" six hole 3mm tom hoop that I can convert into a snare side hoop. The moral is that it pays to look at all of the pages on Reverb and eBay.
