I'm Still Looking For Info On This Drum I Posted A Few Days Ago. I Found It In The Attic Of My Old Farmhouse In Upstate Ny, Near Vt, But I Think It Belonged To My Uncle From South Carolina When He Was In The Military In Ww Ii. It Says Slingerland Supertone Calf On It's Head And Has A Brass & Gold Cloud Badge That I Believe Dates It Somewhere Between '28 And '47. It Was In A Canvas Case That Says 10x14 On It, But It Physically Measures About 11.5-12" Deep By 14.5-15" Wide. It Looks To Be In Very Good Shape(despite The Dust On It In The Pics!) Except For The Slight Wear You Can See On The Rim That I Think Probably Came From Rubbing Against The Person Marching With It. I Saw A Couple On Ebay That Looked Almost Like It, But Their Badges Were From The 1950's. I'm Not A Drum Guy And Could Use Your Help Finding Out More About It, A Reasonable Value, And How And Where To Sell It To Someone Who Would Appreciate And Enjoy It. Thanks!!

You answered all your questions.
Badge dates it from 1928-47
Calf head has stamping
Uncle owned it from WW2
Wear marks from age, unplayed for at least 50 years.
Location South Carolina and New York
10 x 14
Maple hoops and mahogany shell.
Selling it anywhere or anyway would only get you about $100(+/-)
