Roxy drums were made by german Tromsa factory.

Skins logo was RKB - also by Tromsa

Mounts, brackets and holders for Tromsa were made by Rimmel also as for other numerous german drum companies.

You killed it's value when you ..."modified" it.

If you had to drill for the Ludwig throw, you can't get that value back.

Well, sometimes you have no choice but to mod. After 50 years, you're bound to have broken or missing pieces with these kinda kits. Good news is, the snare sounds great! The kit is actually well built for what seems to be a budget line student model. The snare muffler has a great design and build I haven't seen before and looks to be a cast metal. We'll see how it does on Craigslist!

Ya I knew that stuff, I was addressing the Q about value, The graigslist people will low ball because of it. Roxy had some interesting throw's, do you still have the throw ?

Does that barrel nut go into the side of the damper arm or is it not part of it ? Barrel nuts usually come threw a cupped flat and pull in or let out.

Roxy incorporates that style lever in a bunch of their throws, but they will be different. You would probably have to have that made.

Back in the early 90s, there was an old music store in my hometown that still had NOS Roxy kits stacked up in their back room, still in the boxes. Whole kits from the 60s, still brand new. I bought one snare drum ($70!) because I was young and poor and didn't know better (I thought old 60s drums were lame). A few years later the owner died, and some local drummer went in and bought the entire lot for a ridiculous price (like $500 or something). There were probably 4 kits and a half dozen snares. I think he blew them out in the early days of eBay.

The Roxy snare I had was a neat drum. It was a red & black oyster wrap with offset lugs and came with a plastic drum key. I sold it many years ago but it was a cool drum.
