looking for good recording kit in Los Angeles

Loading...

Hello everyone. I have a buddy who has a recording studio and I was speaking with him yesterday about replacing his Gretsch Catalina with a good recording kit. He is interested in Yamaha Recording Customs but I brought over my Vintage Luan MIJ and he loved the tones as well.

Does anyone have a good vintage mahogany or Maple/Birch with a 13" rack, 16" floor and 22" bass available for sale in the Los Angeles Area? Looking for warm tones, so rounded edges would be helpful but not necessary. I don't want to have to scour Craigslist to find something half decent. It's ok if the finish isn't perfect as long as all the parts are there are in good working order.

Budget is around $1200.

PM's are ok or email me at BPMdrummer@gmail.com

Thanks!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
