I'm restoring a 40's wfl white marine pearl snare with zephyr lugs but I am needing the snare throw off. Anyone have one for sale or know where I might find one.

In my experience, old Ludwig throw strainers are hard to find. I looked and looked for one for a 1950 Ludwig Deluxe snare that I had and could not find one. It's gonna be a tough order to fill or a pretty penny paid for AK to make one for you. Do you have pics of the strainer that you need?

keep your eyes open for an old marching snare from the period as well. sometimes you can get the whole drum with strainer for what you'd pay for just the strainer. been there and done that..

I've seen pics of the throw off online,thanks for the advice,I'll keep looking but I'm bout ready to retro fit it with another one.
