PS..I have a bunch of the male/female rachet <(sp?) parts that go from the tom to the rail,but don't think I have the reverse clamp thing that goes on the rail....

Try my buddy Joe (member; Joeyboom) he trades in a lot of vintage 'high-end' drums and he 'might' have some parts around that you can use. Steve Maxwell might prove helpful as well. Worth a try.
