MANY months ago, I came across a Lone Star foot pedal on ebay and asked our members if they knew anything about it. I can't seem to find the thread now! I'm relatively sure (but not positive) that the name had nothing to do with Star Drums of Ralf's site. Maybe you can find the post. Hope this helps a bit.

It looks as though the snare drum stand is missing the sliding flat bar with the third claw to hold the drum in place.
No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

It looks to me that a large diameter snare drum (16") would fit on that stand if the flat sliding bar and the appropriate claw was there.
No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I'm no machinist. But, I think that an arm with a claw end from a donor snare stand could be used. A hole drilled through the flat bar could have a nut and bolt (maybe even a wing nut) holding it into place along the slotted track.
No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Lone Star Percussion has been in business since 1978 mostly as a mail order shop, but now they have a walk-in store as well as an internet presence.
This looks like a Hamilton Concert Snare stand look-a-like. They may have offered these when Hamilton discontinued their models in the 1980's.
They (Hamilton) have since started making them again, so there may be a good chance the parts will fit.
