LM 402 Dating Year it was Made

Hey guys,

Serial number for 6.5 x 14 LM 402 is: 3050708

Does anyone know what year this drum would have been manufactured?

Tried the tables on this forum. Could not find it.

Probably not "vintage" enough.

This must be a much newer drum.

Maybe 80's? 90's? 2000's ?

That should be from the 1982/83 time frame. The badge should be Blue/Olive with rounded corners and a black outline around the serial number.

Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72
