Well, I finally got the Rogers kit up and running. I recovered the 16x16 with sparkle brite, it's just a temporary fix until I get some money to buy a real wrap. The sparkle brite matches perfectly, however it wrinkled up a bit on one side, but it's not noticeable from a few feet away.
Little Red Rogers
That looks like a nice kit, dig the floor tom leg! Are they Fullerton? Love the sizes also.
There was a thread on DFO a while back...
A cat had forgotten to pack his FT legs and used three drumsticks for the whole gig.

Yes, that's my pirate leg mate.
I have an actual leg, but it's at my rehearsal room.
The 16 has a Cleveland Holiday tag, the 13 and 22 have no tags inside.
Here are pics of the kit set up, I was able to use a rod from a cymbal stand in the cymbal mount on the kick drum. The kit sounds incredible.
Lovely little kit,I have a vint rogers myself,I like that thay have good tone ,are warm, and with single ply heads pretty punchy in the volume dept. When a kit sounds that good and you are playing them it can motivate you to go on the Ramen noodle diet to get the funds together to do the rest of the resto.
I've owned several Rogers, Ludwig, Slingerland and Gretsch kits over the years and they all sounded great, but the over all quality of Rogers is superior in my opinion.
Looks nice! What is sparkle bright?
Thanks, sparkle brite is like sparkle contact paper, only a bit thicker and more durable. It has adhesive on one side and you apply it just like a wrap. One sheet covered the whole drum and it cost, with shipping, about $18. The only problem I had was it wrinkling up on one side, but I'll eventually have it recovered correctly. The sparkle brite red glass glitter is an exact match, so for now, it works nicely.
