LINSMAN Snare

Linsman 3.5x13.25 inch snare drum, LIEGE, Belgium.

I picked this up from Lloydminster,

Saskatchewan Canada.

Nice re-ringed shell.

The badge is attached with 3 slot head screws.

I tucked new calfhide heads. The drum doesn't have much of a "snare" sound but sounds great with snares off. Doesn't surprise given the two strand waxwound snares.

Nice drum.

Very unusual. Two strand waxed snare, eh? Wow!

Rare bird there. I wonder if Poirot could locate more of them.

I always seem to forget that there are some very cool vintage European drums out there! Thanks for showing this one. Very nice!
