Thanks guys,
I talked with the person that owns them, he is firm on price, I wasn't truly in love with them, was mostly interested in learning more about them. Thanks for the info.

Give him a few months. At that price they won't sell. If in a month you still see them, shoot him an offer and see if he still holds firm.
Yes blue sparkle is just so darned common
I love blue sparkle ..but already have six kits in that wrap
Olympian, Ralston, Gambles, Dixie, a Pearl stencil (no badge)
and a two up two down Hoshino Frankenstein made up of orphans
That aside I like the cool Lido Supreme badges and at say maybe...250.00??
I might be tempted to add a seventh bs kit to the flock
Many on here would say I am quite an informed MIJ enthusiast. Even with beautiful MIJ kits that I have restored, I would not expect more than $300-350. But that is the exception. It has to be restored with new heads and possibly even be rare.
If these Lido Supremes are not rare, not restored, not all new heads.....it should not be fetching more than $200....unless there is something else in the deal like cymbals, hardware, expensive BD pedal or something, etc. This buyer needs to understand that. Show them this thread if they will not let them go for $200. If he wants more, tell him he needs to spend about a month restoring it, buy and install about $120 worth of heads, and then he could have his $300.
It is what it is - has it's pros and cons....better to be the buyer in this current market. That's why there are several of us on here with a whole collection of MIJ kits like this, most unrestored until we find the time and head money to finish them off.
