Hello out there, I just joined this forum after buying my first vintage drum via eBay...a 16 x 16 Rogers Holiday model floor tom with a "sparkling red pearl" finish.

The seller claimed it was 60s but it has plain drawn brass lugs so I'm thinking 50s. The inside label is Cleveland, but the serial number is unreadable due to damage to the label. The drum interior is black, and there's only a grommet in the badge hole (for an eagle badge?). Written in pencil inside the drum is "perfect 16 x 16 shell for white pearl for Grossman". Unfortunately, leg mounts and legs are missing.

So, two questions. First, does anyone have any thoughts about a more precise date for the drum? Secondly, does anyone have advice as to what sort of mounts and legs were originally on the drum, where to search for said hardware, and what hardware may fill in until I find the vintage parts? I foolishly ordered Pearl mounts only to find that they don't fit the screw hole spacing on my drum (2.25" apart).

Thanks!
