This drum started life as a Broadway Duel. It was my father's. Over the years all the snare mechanism fell apart and I have found it impossible to get a parallel strainer mechanism let alone the snare for under the top head.
I decided to turn it into a Broadway Standard. I rewrapped it in antique marine pearl, put on a retro Leedy strainer and butt end, other than that (except heads and wires) it is all original in it's solid 1 ply maple glory. I know they not turret lugs but it still sounds fantastic.
