That muffler and throw off would date the drum to later than 1960.

Probably closer to '65. I'd love to see pics of the inside of the drum.

Is it a maple or mahogany interior? Any extra holes behind the throw off?

Good point Rich K....looks like sometime between '62 and '65

The badge is the Leedy Chicago 48 badge released in 1960.

The interior is mahogany, maple re-rings, Slingerland's 3-ply shell of the time.

No extra holes anywhere, much to my delight.
