Leedy BDP drum set

I do have the pink snare that I used with my 1963 Champagne Sparkle Leedy set that looks like yours. The configuration was 22--13--16. I sometimes used my home-made tribute to D.J. Fontana resonant bass drum head.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Great set. I have a couple myself. LOVE them. The Shelly Manne snares are excellent as well. Do you still have the pink snare?

A couple of cool tools there!

Do you still have that champagne sparkle set? I'd very much like to have another Leedy, but lately the prices are high.

When I thinned down my collection from 13 vintage drum sets to 5 sets, That 1963 Champagne Sparkle set was one set that was sold because it sorta duplicated my forever-keeper Black Diamond Pearl 1963 Leedy set.

To bad, but we've all had to make similar decisions. Beautiful kit and the buyer was, no doubt, very happy.
