this question is often asked, What bass drum is this by leedy, "leedy" had 3 lines of bass drums they where or are, the STANDARD MODEL this is their top of the line drum and it has a solid wood shell, no plies, next is the SPARTAN MODEL which is their 3 ply laminated shell, and lastly is their RELIANCE MODEL which is their 2 ply laminated shell, hope this is of help!!!!band3
