HI, I was thinking that maybe not a rogers muffler was added..maybe a 60s slingerland muffler to me if you look at the holes from the inside of drum would not the hole#2 be for a screw and hole#3 be for the rod with the knob at the end??I could be way off base on this but who knows...Mikey

I measured a spare Rogers muffler I have, and it is indeed one inch from top to bottom hole. Gretsch mufflers were less than an inch so it couldn't have been them. And the earlier Leedy mufflers were side by side so it couldn't have been those either. Let me know if you'de be interested in trading mufflers (your mailbox is full).

From OldSchool

I've attached some pics of the "replacement" tone control I recently purchased. As I stated in my original post, the configuration is extremely similar to what Leedy labeled its "perpendicular tone control", except for the internal pad. However, the distance between the top screw and bottom screw on the tone control is about 1 1/2 inches as compared to the distance of 1 inch currently drilled in the shell.

Hi,That muffler you have posted is a 60s MIJ muffler...If any one needs any of them i have them....Mikey
