Leedy 1965 Frank Capp Snare Drum

Loading...

My first SlingerLeedy drum! A beautiful 1965 Frank Capp model, catalog #1161. Finished in original Green Satin Flame, aka Aquamarine. All original, except for the black rubber washer on the strainer tension adjuster and the reso head. The snare wire string on the butt is not original, however, the strainer side is! A few minor splits in the wrap, but nothing serious. I love the lugs and badge!

The hoops. The hoops. Man, those are some kinda nice hoops on that era Leedy, and the lugs are so streamlined looking. Nice drum!
