Leban Drums?

Loading...

Has anyone ever heard of this brand name at all? Was looking at a set on Craigslist and they looked like MIJ drums but the picture is pretty low quality and no brand names were mentioned in the ad. E-mailed the seller and he says the only names he can find on them is Leban. I have never heard of them at all has anyone here? And if so can you tell me anything about them?

That would be the ad for them right there. I e-mailed the seller for more pics he said he is gonna get some for me put right now the only pic I have is the one in the ad that I have attached to this post. It isnt exactly what I would call high quality photography.

That's the deal! All original, and the cymbals, could be a score on their own. Even if they are old Camber, some of those are nice. Hope thay are 3 ply, and the wrap is cool, looks like a Star wrap. We'll have to see the strainer and snare lugs to make a determination of builder, but the wrap, kinda look, from this little pic, to be Star...Are you gonna venture off for a gigging kit? These things make for cool kit, when they are worked over. I am offering this service, but since you are off away from here, it makes little sense to ship them here when I have the vids online.

I think this would be my first restore kit something to practice on and won't feel to bad if I muck it up. If it sounds good and looks good I may use it as a gigging kit. If they are 3 ply I am for sure going to jump on this kit if not ehh maybe. That snare looks really cool even in the small pic that is truly what caught my eye. I will let you guys know what goes on with this.
