K.O.!!

Excellent video of your new, and superb, snare drum! I really like your choice of hardware, too! Yes, the Rogers repro lugs are pricey! I had to order 10 of them for my Montineri "Dynatone" snare shell.

I'd also like to know how much it weighs!

I'd like to know what it weighs as well. My guess is between 20 and 30 pounds. Our bathroom scale seems to be MIA at the moment and nothing else I have has the capacity to weigh anything this heavy. The shipping weight for the box was 39 pounds. Just the empty box and packaging exceeds the 11 lb limit of the only scale I can find (my electronic "cymbal" scale). Figure if the box was 15 pounds then the snare would be a minimum of 24 pounds.

I'm curious myself. I'll see if my wife knows the whereabouts of our bathroom scale (my guess is she loaned it to some member of her family, which is a sucking vortex where any missing household item always seems to have gone) or perhaps borrow a scale from work.

Drum weighs 22.5 lbs. Sure seems a lot heavier than that when you pick it up though. I guess because I'm used to similar sized snares weighing no more than 7-8 pounds at the most. Going to try it out tomorrow night at band practice, can't wait to see how it sounds unleashed in a band setting.
