My son in Florida purchased a set of Remo Acousticon-220 drums off Kreggslist and I'm having a very hard time finding any info on them. They are 12/13/16/22 in standard depths, have a Yamaha-style to L-arm mount system(very solidly built)red PVC type covering, and some weird swing-out spurs. No Mastertouch or any other designation-just Remo and Quadura.Small lugs(not the triangly hollow ones) relatively close to the edges.I'm guessing 90's-2000's.Very dark interiors.I've heard some VERY good sounding Remo drums.3 days of searching and not much to show for it.

Later production Remo drums-info?

I am in the minority who has a very POSITIVE impression of Remos. I used to roadie for a big band player who had the coolest gold mirror wrap Jazz kit with a 24" kick!!!!
I guess if they're not PTS, your son did well.
Yeah- I'm THAT guy!!!
