Vintage Black Beauty pointed B/O badge, late 1978/early 1979. Serial number 1889874
The 6 1/2" Blue/Olive pointed badge late 70's Black Beauty.
She is a really lovely sounding & very special drum, I've used it on ton of stuff. I'm selling it to help fund a project I'm involved with & let me tell you its no easy decision.
It is in good condition for a 32 year old drum. It does have marks on it, the odd faint scratch, small areas where the plating is wearing off, a small crack in the top hoop (just from wear against the tension rod) & a bit of general wear & tear but I'd say, having seen a few of these drums in rather poor states, that this is certainly one of the better ones around without any shadow of doubt. Remember it is over 30 years old.
