Late 70's Ludwig Snare Drum Re-wrap

Loading...

Wow, all those little add-on's, especially the P-83 will make it as good a J-fest as if it had come from the factory. The drum has a great sound. Nice woody crack to it. You did good with the additions. Improvements all!

John

PS - Couldn't make it to the P.O. as of yet. Will do on Monday for sure. I'll pm you a tracking number, look for it by end of day Mon. The extra Galaxy wrap is on it's way!!!

Too many great drums to list here!

no worries on that. its much appreciated however!!

i havent told you, but i actually have a galaxy(new wrap) canister throne on layaway at bentleys in california. they are one of the three dealers that are carrying the new galaxy sparkle. ive never seen a 60's throne in galaxy. it will be in good company with the snare and floor tom. dana bentley has been real nice to work with on it. hope to have it by christmas time.

I've spoken with Dana a couple of times... once when I was trying to track down the wrap for your drum! He's a very nice person and was helpful to me when I was hunting for that impossible to get wrap.

In fact, if it wasn't for our anonymous 'famous friend' I never would have found it. You'll have the last of it when I ship on Monday. There's enough there to cut four 1/2"x approx. 24" strips for the bass drum hoops, plus you'll have a small piece left over for any unforeseen future repairs that may be needed. You're good to go.

Love what you did with the drum. Nice!
