Late '60s Sonor Teardrop 20,12,16 Ruby Pearl

I'm selling my Sonor Teardrop set in ruby pearl wrap. These sets were 5 or 6 ply shell by this time, not the ultra thin shells. + Sonor slotted tuning key. Made in Germany badge dates them between 1969-'71. Sizes: 20x12x16

20" BD: One hoop is original with original t-rods, the other was added later with different t-rods. Internal pad muffler works great, all hardware is good. Inlay on original hoop is becoming unglued, so I taped it.

12" Tom-Tom: All original and muffler works great. Wrap became a bit discolored over time.

16" Floor Tom: All original and muffler works great. Hairline crack in the wrap a few inches long but not egregious.

All bearing edges are pristine, no extra holes, tom mount is in great shape. I have the original reso head for the BD, but previous owner ported it. All other heads not original. Tom heads in the picture aren't the ones currently on the kit.

Sorry for the less than stellar, generic photos, I had them on my computer. I don't have the kit here at home, but can access it to take better pics of specific things if you request.

I'm asking for $600 cash. Apologies if you can only post here if you're willing to ship - I've never sold on this forum so if I'm violating a rule, let me know. I have no experience boxing up whole drum kits properly and don't want to deal with an angry customer! I'm located in New York City and can drive to Long Island, Westchester or to meet or work out a pick-up arrangement for nearby New Jersey.

Send me a direct message if interested.

Thanks.

$600? You can't even get a cheap Chinese entry level kit for $600 these days. Super deal for someone.

Agreed. I took into account the few aftermarket parts (hoop and t-rods), minor wrap issues and the fact that not having to box this thing up or deal with surprises will save me a massive amount of headache. Just want to get a good home for it, it's a cool little drum kit that I got a lot of good recording done with.

Hi- are these drums still available?

I know it's been a while, but I thought it was worth a shot.

Thank you.
