Hi my name is Michael and I have a 1930s Ludwig 4 pc jazz drum set for sale. I was trying to restore them but I'm just to busy I need to have someone give me an honest answer on what there worth. There in good condition except for the bass drum and some of the skins, all original. My brother Inlaw got them from a old black guy lived in Harlem New York he was very worried about who would be the next owners of these beautiful drums, so he made my brother in law play them and he said ok and he asked him to please take good care of them w/ a tear in his eye. Well would'nt you know my brother Inlaw left them in his mothers musty damp and leaky basement. when I found them i took them home i feel so bad that this happend to them., so i started to clean them up and 90% of the whole set is in pretty good condition I even went on ebay and got a leedy foot pedle 1916 to go w/ the set it needs the front skin it got hit with water and the bass too,,, the bass is warped and some ofthe other skins are damaged but over all there great. 4 pics snd me and e-mail =kochese@optonline.netThe Band
