Are there two different large classic Ludwig lugs? I can't find it, but recall that the style changed slightly at some point. Even though the hole spacing is the same, did they (like many of us) develop a slight bulge in the middle? When did the change occur?

I know that's the case with the small classic lug. I don't know about the large classic lug however.
The new ones are definitely different. Why they can't make them exactly the same I'll never know. I thought that was the whole idea behind die casting. They are similar, but definitely not exactly the same. The new ones are more 'swollen' and rounded.
