LA Camco serial numbers

Loading...

I have read about the serial numbers on Camco LA 1973-1978. I know that

Camco didn't have serial numbers in the Chanute or Oaklwan era. But the LA Camcos have serials

and I have seen photos that there are numbers on LA mostly on the re-rings. I have a LA kit Camco and there's no number inside the shells. I have read somewhere that not all LA kits have serials.

Is there any other that have seen LA kits without serials?

Yes, you think right. Some LA-era Camco kits were produced without serial numbers. It's not uncommon, especially in transitional periods or with certain shell batches.

I also have a 4 piece LA Camco drum set, and like yours, there is no serial number inside the drum shell space waves. I remember reading somewhere that Camco doesn't always apply serial numbers consistently, especially during transitional production or depending on who's working the line that day.

Ok interesting to hear others that have kits with no serial. I have read that there is a guy that have collected serials numbers from LA Camco,  but I don't know how long he has coming in that.

The last two replies that you have gotten here are bots so disregard any info they shared. This is really getting out of hand.

As far as the serial numbers, I don't have anything to share, just thought I would point out that all of the reponses you have recieved so far are from bot accounts.
