Krud Kutter

Loading...

Guys, I have not read any threads that mention this product, Krud Kutter. Available at any hardware store, this stuff is great. I started out soaking the lugs and other metal parts in Dawn dish soap and that worked OK. I will never use Dawn again, this stuff is amazing to say the least. Now I know you Dawn users will dissagree but before you do, try this stuff. Look at the pic of the lugs, they were the usuall dirty, nasty, greasy, grimey lugs that you see when you first bring an old kit home. These lugs were soaked for 24hours, and wiped off. I have not used any polish on these, only Krud Kutter. Check it out!

Good to know JC!! I wonder if it`s available in Canada? I currently use NeverDull on lugs but it gets to be alot of work at times...

BTW, I like what`s sitting behind the jug in your 2nd pic!! I find that drum restoring and thirst quenching goes hand in hand!! Here`s my proof in this pic...

Cheers

Yes, cleaning up drums and sipping a cold one after a day of noisy machines and dust is realxing to say the least. BTW, still need the parts for the Apollo snare drum and keeping you in mind.

LOVE that stuff for releasing grime in rod threads, nooks & crannies on hardware, and cleaning almost any surface! A little rough on the hands, I recommend gloves.

sherwin williams sell it also the best also there simply green is great too

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Lowe's and Home Depot carry it, the big jug is the best value, it's about $13. A much better value than getting the spray bottles, which are about half the price for 1/4 the product.

Don't get the super or heavy-duty or concentrated stuff, it's really expensive and doesn't do anything it says. I only fell for it because the regular version is so great, I thought the super version would be amazing. A complete waste of $6 for a small bottle.

I didnt know they had more than one formula, I will take note of that. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
