Kit of kits

Did we ever get a sound file from Skins ?

All the collectors never ever would play theirs, he does or did.

Reading that thread about the $250K Ringo kit with the fake wrap reminded me of the kit of kits.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

What are you referring to as far as the "the kit of kits"? I'm missing something.

Thanks

All that you missed on the "Ringo" drum set kerfuffle was seeing posts by an abrasive know-it-all defending ridiculously overpriced for sale listings to justify the highly inflated listings that he also posts. He tried to belittle people who disagreed with him. He could not handle having his pronouncements challenged, and had the nads to diminish the experience of people who disagree with him. So, the owner or moderators of DFO removed the whole thread. This same guy is selling a Jazz fest snare drum on Reverb for $10,000 that looks great, but is kluged together from at least two drums.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I am reporting on the arguments that took place on another forum. And, YES......I have my opinion about the whole event. I am judging that person from his own words about other people who dare to disagree with him. Look to another thread on this forum. He's attempting to stir it up here, too. I'm finished with that jerk. He can ask ten grand for his facsimile of a Ringo snare, and defend someone else for asking a quarter million bucks for an almost real Ringo drum set. As Mr. T would say: "I pity the fool who would pay such silly prices for those drums".

LeedyBDP : I honestly have no problem with opinions. It is simply the attacks. Especially when it's a friend. You'd do the same, I'd wager.

We've gone around before and I think you know you'll lose badly. But I'm not going to go there. Last time, we shook hands and that was that. I'm offering the same hand. Take it or leave it.

You'll leave it as I PM'd to agree to disagree earlier this morning but you ignored the gesture.

The offer still stands ...

Oddball : I don't think anyone here ever listens to what you have to say on literally anything. Your name befits you.

To say that the 250k in question has fake wrap just solidifies what I just said. I will not dignify your lunacy ever again with a response.

What's wrong with you? Why do you keep belittling fellow drummers? I'll give you a tip, SHUTTY!
