Hello jmpercussion85 Thanks very much for the reply
Yes The seller was dug in at 250.00 pretty firm
I asked for him to provide some good pics
of all the worst points about the kit
so I would not have any surprises or major disapointments
which I would love to share here on this thread but they came in the form of bitmaps rather .jpegs
along with the pics and with no prompting from me the seller lowered his price to 225.00 shipped
The pics were so detailed that they showed several problems
involving every drum in one way or another
again I was looking at A. the odd color and B. the Kimberly badges which I had never seen or heard about before
Still in the condition they were in and missing the resonant sides
Had they been a more common color like red sparkle or blue sparkle
I would have had zero interest
As it was I felt 200.00 even shipped was paying up for them plenty
The seller was a good guy and a drum guy like most of us
and so he agreed at the two bills ..I did just get an e-mail from him that the drums went out and should arrive here tomorrow
Less the cymbal arm that he was "looking for" turned out he had sold the arm he was thinking of with a Yamaha kit some time ago
Anyway as to his being firm at 250.00 that may have been much earlier in the proceedings as by the time I came along the seller had been holding the kit for a while most likely due to the condition
Sometimes when a kit even with a cool color
is a little beat up like these
a little holding time is a good tenderizer price wise
