This is a 1967 Kent kit I finish cleaning up last night. When I got it the tom was covered in contact paper and the bass was all sorts of messed up. I found the missing lugs, cleaned everything up and I think it turned out pretty good. I really should have taken a few 'before' photos. Make sure you check out the bass drum hoops. They are quite different.

Im still looking for an original shell mount cymbal stand ...

way cool kit,,,,in New Orleans where i lived and plyed for 10 years astudio in MISSISSIPPI i recorded at frequently had an old 60's kent blue sparkle kit looked like someone had left it in the rain,mistreated etc,,,,but it was the coolest recorded drum sound (wif a wallet on the snare) I HAVE EVER USED,,,oh the memories(i lost all my 35 years of recorded history to KATRINA,,,BUT THE 2 THINGS I DO REMEMBER ARE :WHAT A GREAT SOUNDING KIT AND THE USE OF A PHASE SHIFTER ON THE HI-HAT ON A RECORDING OF "EVERYBODYS TALKIN'"(NILLSON)...AMAZIN GRACE,HOW SWEET THE SOUND.......""PLAY IT FORWARD MY FRIEND,PLAY IT FORWARD...."
