I think it may have been, because I too have never seen another US made drum with the same exact finish. I think this color is quite rare and there has been a 3 piece (no FT) kicking around for sale for quite some time. The price has been pretty high so I think most have stayed away from it.
Finding a FT in that wrap will be a challenge I suspect.

In the vintage snare drum collections section is a Red Oyster Pearl Slingerland snare /Frank Sarro collection.Does the Kent drum have silver in it?Or is it more a bowling ball red/grey/white?

I was told by an expert on Kent that thier red oyster was exclusive just for them..Odd.I wonder if there are other finishes that were exclusive for any ONE drum maker?
