Kent owners - Tom mount question.

Loading...

Hi there fellow drum nuts. I have a White badge 12" Kent tom with the old "slip on" mount. I was wondering if anyone here knows if other makers tom arms will fit (60's Ludwig, pearl, etc...)?

The plan is to get an arm and then mount it to a cymbal stand (using a clamp of some sort). I don't want to drill holes or do anything to make the kit/tom unoriginal. I mainly play 4 piece, but having an extra tom is always nice and I prefer the two-toms-on-the-left setup, rather than the traditional 5 piece setup.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

You could use a rims mount, it might be hard to find a clamp of some sort. I don't know much aout Kent but jp2 creations has what you might be looking for. Good luck

Thanks - Yes, I could go with a rims style mount, but I was trying to avoid adding anything more to the tom. I had a look at jp2 but didn't see the type of arm I'm looking for. Perhaps I'll contact them directly.

This lip extension rod will work.
