Keith Thibodeaux on a Vintage Slingerland Kit

Here's one from the vault. This was about 1956. It's Keith Thibodeaux on a sweet vintage Slingerland kit. Notice the spur mods and the cool calf stamps. Man, that is uber-cool. I love the sound of that cymbal. He had a pretty good grasp of "feel" at that very young age. Dixieland is not my favorite style, but he pulled it off without a hitch. His snare work was very slick for a tiny little tyke. He could barely reach that pedal.
