Music is the universal language. It is our passion and our reason to be. When we are deprived of this wonderful gift, we can't imagine a world devoid of this great spiritual essence. I feel so very deeply about such a talented person ending his life but, in a way, I can understand. It will happen again. I can only thank Mr. Emerson for his great contribution of joy he has bequeathed. Thank you, sir!

Being a fan of elp this is definatly a sad day. I love to drop the needle on tarkus and just vibe. That being said I'm not going to shed too many tears for this man. So he can't play as well as he used to be able to? Boy he should take a look around him at people that have real problems. I've known several people who have taken their own lives and the result of their cowardice decision is nothing but pain and resentment from the family and friends they leave in their wake. Many lives are destroyed and the memory of that person is forever tarnished. There is nothing nobel in his fate.
