Had a great time today as Rick Gier (KCDrumDad) stopped by for lunch while in town and to see my Ludwig ThermoGloss kit. Rick, always a pleasure sir!

Thanks for being such a gracious host. I enjoyed talking and, of course, admiring your drums.
Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

Nothing like the camaraderie of drummers sharing their passion! Excellent picture!
I was recently at my local King Bolt store, to get some stainless steel slotted screws for my Rogers drum. I noticed a customer already at the counter, with what appeared to be drum related parts. I went up to him and asked if they were for drums. Yes, they were! We shook hands and he explained that he was helping out his tech by trying to track down some needed parts. We parted ways with another handshake and some fun conversation!
