Hello to all, My son is a novice and he found this cymbal at a yard sale. I did some research and from what I gathered its a K Zildjian Istanbul with a type 3 stamp . It has a "Zildjian made in Turkey paper label under the bell and has the cymbalsmith signature there also. There is grease pencil writing on the botton edge that reads 33.The cymbal looks like it was never used. My question is what did he find? The cymbal measures 13"diameter, the hole measures 3/8, thebell is about 4 "diameter. Is it part of a high hat or maybe a trash? My son is only 14 and just learning an I have no clue as to" ride"," crash"," trash". so any help would be greatly appreciated. From what I've seen on the internet some of these vintage k zildjians can be pretty pricey so if he found a winner at a yard sale for 3 bucks maybe I can use it to pay for his lessons! Thanks, Xavier
