im new be here and think on all the old drums ive had since 1966 and i think i miss my new pink champagne holly wood set i bought or should say my dad bought for me in 67or was it summer of 68 oh well the smell still haunts me wow as it was the only new set ive ever owned from good ol biascoes chitown i remember my drum lessons from some hot teacher there in the basement could hardly pay attention then 3 years later i sold it for a engagement ring set what a waste got rid of wife should of kept the kit and went back for more lessons i think sometimes we go through life with blinders on oh well good to be here maybe ill find it again as it stands i picked up a roach tiger set from someone years back and il looks the one at the professional drum shop in cal same one in his pic holly wood look a like custom drum shop out there ive beat it up through the years now ill try to restore it nice kit great sound with the oil heads and shot gun but sure miss those ol days ty for listeningViolin

The embers are being stoked. Good. You have a desire, which will grow into a passion. Vintage drums are amazing instruments. I'm glad you made the leap into the forum. These guys have taught me so much about the subject. It's a wonderful place to hang.

now i will go through my storage dig my ol 1950 3 in. red sparkel snare ?leedy?maybe ill be lucky clean it up and brush work it a little as im drumming in church choir and sticks r a no no as of yet i have to play somewhere to keep my chops , a freind of mine great axe man the other day were talking axes and ive a few few collectibles play a little and told him i whish i was a axe man and he said your a drummer and it hit me yeh yeh yehhhhhhhh thats when i came to the realization i want my vintage set back and il search hope to find a good price and is the supra 400 as i remember the best snare ever or what ?
