The guys at the drum shop inside of Guitar Center flipped! They commented on the off set lugs that Orange County is using now and the wood running vertical is something that DW is doing now as well. These old Majestics are right in style! lol

Very cool. I have never seen a vintage kit with offset lugs on all the drums. I've seen kits where just the rack tom is offset, and kits where floor and rack toms are offset, but I've never seen a vintage kit with an offset lug pattern on the kick. Very hip looking kit.
This is the product of two separate kits. I paid about $145 for
Both kits combined. I robbed the top rim off the snare for
the 14" floor tom as well as the tone muffler control. Now both
toms match perfectly! I already use a Ludwig Supraphonic
for both my kits and want the Majestic which was already
missing parts.
I have another bass drum that is eight lug sitting in the
garage. Not sure what I will do with yet and I chose the
ten lug kick to restore.
I really was looking for a smallish kit for small profile
shows and the sizes all met my needs. The vintage white
wrap was on sale and the same color of my
first Ludwig kit at age 14. I was overcome to see
my first American kit come to life again! This Majestic
kit sat for six months while I restored and
sold three other kits. I knew this one was special and
was going to wait till spring to start it, but the wrap
sat in my bedroom taunting me! Lol
I'm glad she is finished and ready to go as the small
drum gigs are starting to pop!
