Just picked up a old set of slingerlands for a really good deal. I just bought a shell pack of 72's except for the tom in which is a 64. The sizes are 14X20, 8X12, and 14X14. I play small clubs so this will work perfect for me. They are in pretty good shape except for the paint peeling on the floor but all in all a very good deal and they sound really, really good! I am very happy with them. They just need some TLC to get them looking better. But I am not a collector, just a player so they will work well for me.

I was thinking about going out and getting a set of new yamahas, but couldn't justify the cost in this economy. I have had Rodgers, Gretsch, and now I can say I am a proud owner of a set of Slingerlands. I feel like a drummer again!
