Joseph Rogers skin head timeline

When did Rogers cease production of skin heads ? The Rogers book & online info states when the skin business was established, but I'd like to know when they stopped making skin heads. Thanks.

They stopped making calf heads as standard in the 1958 (59Rcatalog). That's plastic.

In the 1957 Grossman counter catalog they are still advertising that the drums will have matched heads. That's calf.

So I guess the answer is they continued to make calf heads until the public stopped ordering them. Rogers drums had tall hoops into the early 1960s...

Rogers was still showing the availability of calfskin heads in my 67-68 catalog!

Thanks, everyone for the comments. I suspect that Rogers may have offered stored up stock for several years past their ceasing of production. I was hoping to find a date of the closing down of their tanneries.
