Picked these up last week, just getting started on them

White (WMP) Crowns, 20x14, 12x8, 5.5x14

Blue Cornets, 13x9, 16x14

Black (BMP) Raven, 12x8

Instead of a bag of cash in the bass drum, there were 40 year old blankets and clothes! Darn!

Cool stuff. I too just joined the club.

What are you planning - those WMPs are cool .... got alot of hardware to locate? Or is is just taken off in the photos?

Luckily they were complete w/ most of the hardware, they're stripped and ready for cleaning & polishing. There were no bass drum spurs, but, you're gonna laugh, a couple 8" nails fit in there fine! Missing the tom arm to fit on the rail, the tom has a slot mount

It may be a fool's errand but finding a matching floor tom would be nice

Took a look at your Stars, nice!

Those lugs on your Coronets are the fat Slinger-type ones. My friend and I could use some of those if you have any others laying around. Those are made by Pearl BTW.

Crown....recall an amazing blue pearl Crown kit I saw on here once - with 10 lug BD. Not sure who snagged that up (was FS)

What are your plans with all these?

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I'm going to use the bass drum for a weekly gig, introduce it into the mix. I'll hang on to the matching Crown tom & snare.

I may keep the 16" Cornet floor tom to convert to a bass drum too, or use it w/ the Crowns

As far as the 12" Raven & 13" Cornet, I'm not sure, if anyone is interested in those two, let me know. Sorry Dj333 don't have any spare lugs

Reminds me of the old Rosemary Clooney commerical jingle "extra value is what you get, when you buy Coronet.."

Thanks Rims, you've got me thinking of sanding them now, even though I kinda like the yellowing. But, they'd look pretty good if I can bring them back

I used Novus on these, good stuff! I'll try #1 on the hoops & lugs too. The hardware was really bad in some spots. Everything was soaked in Dawn & polished w/ Nevr-Dull and Brasso.

And now I'm thinking I should have gone with a black gloss paint on the BD hoops instead of a matte, ha!
