John Grey snare drum?

This snare is put today on buy-sell site, here in Serbia, and seller advertise it as 1944 John Grey snare drum.I ask him for better pics, dimensions and some inside pictures, and of course a price, and i am waiting. It looks that lugs are from John Grey drums from that era, tension rod also, but I could not find these badge on net.Parts of snare strainer are also missing.I find couple of pics from net, similar snare drums modified with diferent snare strainer, but same lugs.Is there chance that some other companies in that time use identical lugs?

Thank you

Dule

Not seen the diamond badge before. You might try Mike Dolbear. He's "THE" expert on European drums, especially British made drums.

I received info from Roger Kelly from UK vintage drums, and since this snare is deeper ,according to seller almost 10" from top edge of the hoop to top of bottom hoop, this is marching snare drum from WWII,and badge is probably from their banjo product line, because of shortage of material during war, they put what they have in that moment.Still waiting foe better pics
