John Grey Broadway Snare Question

Loading...

Hello:)

I recently purchased a 4 piece 63/64 John Grey Broadway kit. It came with the matching snare. It's in very good shape, fits 14" heads fine, wrap is in amazing condition, chrome as well, even has the original John Grey snare wires, has fairly new heads, sounds really really good. I think it's either a model 514 or 515.

I normally don't care for matching snares (just personnel preference). I might actually keep this one though, if not, what's a current value if I was to sell? In US dollars?

Thanks!

I'd have thought it would retain more value if kept with the kit it was born with, even if you don't use it. Sold on its own maybe $75-$100

I agree, keep it with the set...They were born together, so, they should stay together, IMHO...

You will get more for the snare WITH the set than without...
