Jimmy Nicol question for Beatles gurus..

So my teenage daughter has discovered the Beatles and today she showed me a picture of Jimmy Nicol playing a Ludwig kit but it clearly has Rogers hardware to mount the tom... so did Jimmy Nicol bring that kit with him when he filled in for Ringo or was that Ringo's kit.

The picture just made me curious???

Not a Guru... just interested..

He played ringo's kit but played Ringo's 20'' on his right and ringo's 18'' as his crash. Ringo of course had his cymbals the opposite. But those were rings drums

Thanks for the quick response. So Ringo did mount his tom with Rogers hardware??

Short answer - yes. Ringo was not the only one, though. There were gobs and gobs of other drummers that saw the value in those mounts.
